Yup, aware of all those, thanks. They are part of next week’s optimisations. New icons also in the pipeline.
Noice, it’s really coming along beautifully. (couldn’t find a high five emoticon so here’s some high heels).
Haha, thanks man. This really is my passion project - trying to apply all my skills in one project.
Still amazing. Small thing, but I like the small bounce on the transitions.
Thought I’d bring it up here, do the characters have names? Backstory/Lore?
No specific names, but roles. We have 7 roles in total and they will be expanded on when I work through the content.
Cool vibes, nice typography, bold buttons—a lovely way to pay tribute to Swiss design. Check it out.
This is still the one thing being completed this week. We have 3 days to get a ton of work done before we’re being marketed to 50k readers across Africa! Majority of the site’s interaction is done, just styling tweaks, bits of content and some graphics left.
Will go and check it out on that link you shared.
Wow it’s changed a lot since I last saw it. It’s looking good. Very impressive as always.
Thanks! Yeah it needs to be a full website, hence all the changes… Previously it was mostly POC components being built.
So our new website finally went live yesterday! It can be accessed here. There’s still a couple of stuff I was planning on implementing on the website, but due to time constraints we had to make do with what we have for the moment. The primary pressure was due to the SA Innovation Summit asking us to present a master class in mapping your business’ digital journey at the summit next month and the marketing collateral being sent out today. The LinkedIn post for it went out a bit early though, but luckily the site deployment was done yesterday at 15:00.
Congratulations on the launch, it’s magnificent! And super slick on mobile too! I have no doubt that all the time and effort you’ve put into it will pay off huge dividends.
Congratulations. It’s amazing.
Thanks! Not sure about dividens, because the time and cost we sunk into this website will take a huge project to recover, let alone profit off the website. Still, it had to be done.
Thank you very much! We’re launching some social media campaigns around it soon…
I am in awe of your team! (I am assuming that a whole team did this and not just you cos if it was just you I am like stumped as to how!)
Love it!
Well, I wrote half of the copy on the site, while our marketing manager wrote the rest. We hired 2x 3D modellers to do the assets for us, but I wrote all the code, composed the 3D scenes, built the transitions and interactions. I also directed the “art” and signed off the character and scene models. This has been a passion of mine for a year now and I’ve been working after hours on it for the last 6 months.
Well done, @FarligOpptreden, it’s a great site!
I know its hard for any technically minded person to do, but you should absolutely not think of it in these terms. The qualitative profit is going to by much, much more than the quantitative ever could be, as this will surely attract more clients, and importantly, a higher quality client.
