Disney+ South Africa

It is brilliant and twisted and fucked up and one of my all time favourite series. Where Friends was a show about people that will always be there for one another, IASIP is about people who will never be there for each other. At all. Ever.

Never heard of it but you have piqued my interest.

Its definitely not for everyone - very, very dark and twisted. In one early episode a two of the gang get addicted to crack within a day if being cut off financially, so that they could claim grant money.

Nothing is off limits on this show, much like South Park.

Aaah… probably not up my alley then. I’ll give it a look nonetheless.

I see the full X-Files series is on there. I’ve started that. Always only seen an episode here and there back when it was on tv.
So far… it is very old.

It’s old (1993), but I’m ok with it. I’m only 2 episodes in thus far though.
We’re also watching Mentalist which we thought is quite old when we started watching it… but X-Files is a different level of old.

Hmm, Will have to give the first episode a watch again when I have power in the evenings.

My wife is currently watching X-Files while I’m watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

It’s funny that we get a new streaming service and we watch these old shows.

Every evening the power is off and then my wife and I are in bed with our laptops and headphones and watch shows.

True, but the old shows were good. I think I saw Firefly also on Disney+ so now is my time to finally watch that.
Now if I can only get to watch Ally McBeal and The Practice somewhere… Wanted to see it ever since I saw Boston Legal.

Edit: I see Ally McBeal is on Disney+. Cool.

lol wot?! OSSIM!

All we need now is The Pretender.

haha indeed!

At weekends we try and watch at least one of the MCU films.

On the side, I’m watching Scrubs and 24.

Looks like two seasons are on Amazon Prime.

Wow, that takes me back. Unfortunately, I cannot support or validate having more than one service that fills the same use case.

Sadly, I’m only seeing the first season of 5.

Edit: but that surfaced Eli Stone to me now too

Edit: and ALIAS

Hmmm… I’ve only ever seen part of an episode of the Pretender, so definitely adding that.
Eli Stone is one of those series where I got pissed off because I found out too late that it was cancelled.
Alias is also on my list to try.

Only if you’re ready for some heartbreak.

You mean a lot… Especially if they have the movie as well.

Is there any way to adjust the aspect ratio and size on the desktop app? Older stuff - like Always Sunny… - is barely watchable on a 1920 x 1080 monitor. It’s maddening.

Okay, it switches to 4:3 and gets better a couple of episodes in…

And then, of course, it goes back to being kak again two episodes later.

Multimillion dollar company goes cheap on the app

Or maybe our third world money is not that worth the effort :pensive:
