It took the body corporate a while to get somoeone out to check. Its a burst main pipe.
And the best part the prick in the office above us where the pipe burst doesnt want people in his office to fix it… It burst upstairs and flooded our office…
Hopefully we can have the carpet cleaned ir replaced as well as the cabinets that have warped in the kitchen
Had a similar thing with one of our tenants. The water was off due to construction work, so they leave the tap open with the plug in the sink… Apparently they wanted to wash the dishes and forgot to close the tap.
When the water came back on the Friday afternoon it flooded their whole office, and the one below.
They paid for everything, but a bit of a dumb move to begin with.
Sjoe, boring shift till 11:30 and then it was madness till 3.
Then went to the office to see if its drying a little but nope, the carpet is still squelching when walking on it, and its spread a bit further even tho the water is off. We have half a big tub of water that was caught, when the water was turned off, its a lovely muddy brown.
As a Blue Bulls supporter, I have to say - NICELY PLAYED STORMERS! I was really impressed with how hard the Stormers played. The Bulls also had some amazing moves, and overall the match was really action-packed and exciting and entertaining. Really great! I am just excited that a South African team won the URC
