I’ve almost ordered from them a few times. I think they have a physical store in one of the bigger malls in Pretoria, but I might be thinking of another shop…
They’ve been around several years though, so it’s doubtful they’re a scam and disappear shop. They’ve got mixed reviews on hellopeter, but mostly the bad stuff is poor after sales.

@Mottamort as for the knives just make sure they have the victorinox stamp on the blade and you wont regret it. I own about 8 different ones from them and use is from pairing knives to steak knives and moat of mine are now 5 years old. No broken handles and they stay sharp and we found that you can carefully sharpen them on a proper whetstone.
yip. i trust my certified chef wife. she says we get le creuset pots…we get le creuset pots. she says victorinox steak knives (she already has a custom victorinox chef knife set with her name engraved on each blade from many years ago when she worked as a chef, so we covered for THOSE knives), then i go - yip, i’ll get

I love how they look but they are heavy and fecking expensive.

I am a bit of a nut when it comes to their knives. Ask @DieGrootHammer… When we went to braai at his place or cook at his place with friends, i would bring it along

So I know Binuns. They’ve had a physical shop in Menlyn for yonks years. We’ve been shopping there since I was a kid (over 20 years at least). They have a lot of stuff. Haven’t been there in a while since I live in Centurion now but I know them. Most stores are putting up an online shop these days to keep up with the times. They might suck at that, but the store itself and their products are legit.
If you really want something from them but don’t want to buy it via their online store, I could possibly help you with buying it from the physical store and send it to you using Pudo locker to locker for R50.
