@GregRedd is right, leaving the bag and cables makes it less likely to be noticed.
Similar thing happened to my old man. He packed up his laptop from the office, stopped at the supermarket on the way home, and when he got home his laptop bag (under the bakkie seat) had no laptop in. Charger and USB drive etc all were still there. He thought he must be going crazy, and will just get it at the office the next day. But obviously it was not in the office. It could only have been stolen at the supermarket.
So my wife arranged a surprise braai for me today. My parents came over (as per their once a month visit), but an hour into the braai she got a phone call and said I should help her carry in a Checkers order that is being delivered. I went outside and lo and behold, my best friend from school whom I haven’t seen in 20 years. Turns out he also moved down to CT and stays about 5km away from us. What a great surprise and wonderful time we had catching up!
Hope you all had an amazing weekend. Now I know it’s Monday and it feels like the weekend was over in a flash but let’s make this week ours grind until the next weekend
