Anyone else noticed a change in the restoring power at the end of a load shedding block time lately? Before now we’d generally get power back about 10-15 minutes early. At 8:15 for example, instead of the scheduled 8:30. The last two weeks or so it’s been very different. At least for us. No early restorations at all, always at least 5 minutes or more after the scheduled time. This morning’s one, that should have ended at 8:30, only came back at 9:05.

Nah, I don’t think we’ve ever really experienced the full 2h30m or 4h30 respectively, normally we get 2 hours or 4 hours, give or take a few minutes. If it comes on at 8:15 then that is considered late.

I’m in the same boat as Beo.
Sometimes, albeit rarely, during stage 6, they don’t cut us for one of our slots…

Yea the Cape is different tho @beo should know this by now - we are spoilt compared to the rest of the country.

Always kak when you start feeling that way. Trust your instincts. If you’re unhappy and have a sense that the company is struggling, start to investigate your options and other alternatives sooner rather than later when everyone else catches on and there’s all of a sudden a lot more competition for other opportunities.
You don’t have to commit to anything immediately, but start to put a contingency plan in place. And who knows, maybe the dream job pops up out of nowhere.
