I do see there’s a port on Github with MacOS listed in there… Not sure if it needs a front end or what, but you can take a look
I found it did an excellent job with the punctuation. It got spelling right as it seems to pick up the context. ymmv
I tell people voice notes are the lowest priority. I am very clear that if you send a voice note, I will assume it is unimportant and not to expect a response in a reasonable amount of time.
No. I do not want to sit at my desk having messages playing over my speakers. Ever. And in those cases, I will play it once and I don’t make notes. If I don’t catch certain bits of information, you’ll have to type it out anyways when I reply with text. If you don’t like my policy, that’s your problem. /vent
You can always take your transcribed notes and pass it through Chat GPT to clean it up for you. Maybe even figure out a little workflow to talk, transcribe and call the Chat GPT API all in one go.
I forgot about the public holiday tomorrow until I saw people posting “I’m taking Monday off” messages, which was after I booked two meeting for this morning.
One was a no-show, the other ended up being postponed due to things that were discovered before the meeting started. smh
FYI for @murfle and everyone else on salary with PTO. Plan ahead for next year. This from a Reddit post:
If you take leave on the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 29th, 30th of April 2025 and the 2nd of May 2025, that’s 17 days off for 7 days of leave… from the 18th of April to the 4th of May.
