ello all
surviving my first week in the office, doing well being here and missed the environment.
The driving got to me on the first day, so we arranged that I go between 9:30 and 10 and leave again by 2:30 so I don’t sit in all the traffic

Really didn’t expect my hand and arm to be this sore after a week of work and its not even a full week.

Good morning everyone.

Glad that you’re doing better now. Missed your posting and your ‘hearting’.

RFQ designs? We get them as pdfs and excel datasheets, and a shit ton of specs, and VDRs.

In my project, I am working on designs for a solution to facilitate the RFQ process, including attachments for items you’ve mentioned.

Perhaps we can talk.

Morning Folks!

So glad the sun is out a bit again here in CT.

Yesterday during the afternoon rain we went out for a short lunch at Groot Constantia. When we got back, Jake had decided to remodel the garden, in the rain. The dogs were so muddy and wet, and the mud went inside and all over the house too. I had a short window to repair the garden, get all the soil back where it belonged. So I was outside for 45 minutes with a little shovel, bent over or squatting, scraping up the soil from EVERYWHERE to fill in the 30cm deep trench he had dug. Fortunately it wasn’t in the grassy area of the garden so there isn’t a giant grass hole, but it began to pour while I worked so I got absolutely soaked through.

When I got changed into dry clothing I discovered that I only brought one pair of shoes for the whole trip - the set I’d been wearing. Overnight they dried in the laundry room, but aren’t entirely dry so now that there’s a bit of sunshine they’re in the sun to dry completely. But they’re filthy :joy:

But with the rain overnight the soil has been packed back into the holes proper and levelled out, so it’s looking pretty ordinary again. Still have to sweep the pavement to get the last bits off, but that has to wait for dry weather.
