Ooo, and almost forgot to mention that I got to have dinner with @Wyvern and fam last night! They came over about 45 minutes after the trench was filled in again. I’d managed to clean up a bit, and clean up the dogs too. And keep them inside so they had dry paws for greeting the guests.
Jake adores Angie’s mom, and he was extra cuddly and cute because he knows that grandmas give the best snacks It was awesome to see Wyv, and I’m so chuffed about how amazing her hand is looking and doing! I went out to check my shoes - they were dry! I cleaned them off as best possible, they look decent enough to wear. Popped them on, grabbed a broom and swept a bunch of the dried dirt off the front door pathway and the edging of the garden. Looks much better. The other section was still too wet to sweep so I decided to leave it. As I stood up, it began to rain. Popped back inside, and now its pouring at a 45° degree angle.
