My oldest son’s birthday is tomorrow, he’s turning 10. We’re going to Spur and invited some of his friends to join us, got him a Roblox cake made and he’s getting his first pocket knife. I still have memories of having a Swiss army knife so I’m hoping he loves his and lasts him years too.

Urgh… Went to bed without power and woke up to no power. In dire need of some kawfy.
Found out last night my brother, who’s 44, had a mild heart attack and did an angiogram yesterday only to find out his main artery is fooked and has been booked for an emergency bypass surgery.
It just gets better…

Anxiety is a natural response, you don’t know what to expect. Calm your nerves and try and relax, talk to your brain and remind yourself that whatever you see, hear or experience that you will deal with it when it comes.

Im wearing my anxiety lies bracelet all day every day to keep reminding me and centre me. They are already talking of sending him to rehab, they have removed 99% of the tubing and gastric tube as well as many others.

Ok so he is still very sleepy, insists on eating by himself - they may not feed him nor rush him. It is slow but he eats all the pureed food. The sleepiness is part of the recovery from the injury, but it seems that he will be transferred to Vincent Palotti Monday or Tuesday unless something happens again, where he will start his rehab. The docs are really happy with his progress. It’s still a long long long thing, and the wins will be small, currently, his short term memory is gone.
