It is often stipulated that equal time off in lieu of working on a holiday may be acceptable. Albeit, it is always nice to have the compensation x2, but don’t you also have the option (or right) to refuse to work on a public holiday?

Here is what the knitted ones look like that I have been using for so long, I find the straight gap for the fingers less restrictive than a glove with just the fingers cut off. I can also curl my fingers up into that warmth if needed.
