Extreme Makeover Monitor Edition

I have finally ascended to the next level of the PC Master Race. Thanks to a little work bonus I’ve finally been able to upgrade my monitor going from a 27" 1080p 75Hz monitor to a 27" 1440p 155Hz one and it is awesome!

I’ve been wanting to get a high refresh rate monitor for ages and I can definitely say it is worth it. Dragging windows around the desktop has never looked so good  But it’s pretty cool in games too.

I wasn’t initially setting out to get a 1440p monitor but managed to get a decent deal on Carbonite, it is a nice bonus and my GPU can handle it in most games.

What monitors are you all running?

  • 1080p (HD)
  • 1440p (QHD)
  • 2160p (4K)
  • 60Hz
  • 144Hz +
  • Other Hz (mention in thread)

Nice, Samsung S27B550 by any chance?

I found that extra 15Hz more than the usual 60Hz did make a difference.

My main monitor is a LG 32GK650F 31.5" QHD 144Hz FreeSync, and then I have two regular 24 inch 1080p ones for when I work.

I have the LG 25UM58-P 25" UltraWide Full HD IPS Monitor. The 21:9 aspect ratio is amazing and a total game changer.

I’ve got the same LG (32GK650F 31.5" QHD 144Hz), I love it. I also have a 24 inch 1080p Dell in portrait for odds and ends.
