If it works like fh4 does, then it won’t use your steam friends, it will use the friends you have on the xbox app. Yes even though you bought it on steam, its main platform is the xbox app. Like an E.A game that uses origin to launch even though you bought it on steam
Did you try what I did? eventhough yours is a bit buggered now, maybe that still resumes? Becuase from the Xbox app it starts installaling then it just stops, but from the windows store is works fine.
I logged in through the xbox app before I was able to play, I even had to reset my old Hotmail password lol. After logging in it said something about linking my friends lists and I could see a bunch of people who had the game

If most of those are from Game Pass (which I suspect they are) and we average the monthly sub at R200 (given standard, premium, currency fluctuations, etc.) then they’re sitting with at least R900mil in recurring income per month for Game Pass. It’s probably much more than that…

Precisely! It’s a real struggle, I hardly finish a game nowadays.
That being said, a problem I had with FH4 is that the map became too full of things to do that it was overwhelming. It began to look like a Ubisoft game, I can see FH5 going down the same route and I hope that it is just able to be more managable.
I think I did everything on the map in FH4 but the game didn’t really acknowledge it or show credits or anything so maybe I missed something, I don’t know.
I’m having a blast in this game, accidentally stayed up until midnight. Elimination mode is awesome, especially since the Beetle you start with really, really accurately modelled. Bought myself a VW Kombi, because I miss my IRL one, and a Volvo V60, since its the sister car to my IRL one. It has the correct interior, including the awesome dashboard, the only issue is that the power meter isn’t working… @FarligOpptreden , you’ll love it as well.
I do dislike that my connection keeps dropping to the servers, resulting in notifications, and that I’m racing “against” @Solitude and @GregRedd in offline races. If it was your ghosts it would’ve been cool, but plopping your name onto an AI car doesn’t work for me.
I do like the controls, the feeling of fun from driving around, the almost overwhelming amount of things to do, all the pretty cars, and the fact that my progress is being measured against @GregRedd’s.
Really impressed with this game so far!

I am not having a fun time in remapping the buttons. Default bindings have unassigned actions, but when you want to create a custom configuration it requires to map certain actions but there aren’t enough buttons to allow this.
EDIT:
Eg. default does not have a mapping for “map” but when creating a custom config this is required to be assigned, but every button is currently assigned.

I think i googled last night and saw there were problems with controller remapping, honestly was like a whole webpage of bugs still in the game, some very basic ones.
Bracing myself for that 100gb patch that will probably come out XD
