I managed to link the accounts very easily
Same email address on both your Xbox and EA accounts?
I unlinked my Xbox account from EA and re-linked it but it was all for nothing. Meh.
Jup both the same been using the same one for years
Tried playing some Squadrons, the controls feel off and didn’t make it past the second mission.
I liked the game a lot! I thought the controls were great.
You should try it in VR!
Cool… I’m finally going to get to try Anthem and see what all the fuss was all about.
Linked my profiles without any issue.
Also linked without any issues. I’m downloading the C&C remaster as we speak.
I still can’t get it to work. No idea what the problem is.
EDIT: I think I found the issue. Did some more googling and apparently if you have UAC (user account control) turned off on Windows it can have issues with EA Desktop and the Xbox app working together. I uninstalled EA Desktop, enabled UAC and restarted my PC and the EA app is now downloading through the Xbox app. I really hope it works and continues to work if I disable UAC again, I hate it.

So many games, so little time!
It’s a constant struggle.
Not only are there so many games but there’s so much sport going on and so much stuff that needs to be done in the house and personal projects and …
… goes back to bed.
It’s so weird to see Stalker 2 listed as an indie game, but it is what it is. Can’t wait for it.
The latest version of arguably the best baseball game franchise for current and next-gen consoles, MLB The Show, will be available on Game Pass on Day One (20 April).
Significantly, MLB The Show 21 will also be the first time the franchise comes to Xbox, which up until now, has been a PlayStation exclusive title. The game is developed by San Diego Studio which is part of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Worldwide Studios, so this move is doubly impressive.
I’ve been a fan of MLB since I started playing it back in maybe 2014. They’re bladdy fantastic games and this is a big play from MS in securing this exclusive from Sony (which was about a 15 year running). And at $70 buy in, Game Pass just makes this game so much more accessible to a much wider audience.
