Congrats! I made it through my 10th escape as well after 46 attempts.
I’ve finally made it past Hades! Once so far but I’m hoping there will be more to come. I now realise that beating Hades once is definitely not the end of the game. I got a ton of loot which helped me trade to unlock the full mirror upgrades, some really great ones. Also now it’s time to raise the heat on the escapes
I’m still on my first run post defeating Hades the first time. Still have yet to make time to get back to that run lol. But I really want to. My time in the evenings just seem to vanish(plus now we’re back into the swing of ole Rona cup).
If you guys have enjoyed this journey into Greek mythology you should check out Blood of Zeus on Netflix:
You may notice some familiar weapons
Thanks, Hades has really been the first game to really make me even a little interested inthe Greek mythology. I’ll be sure to check it out if or when I resub to Netflix, thanks for sharing.
Also try Apotheon. It’s a fun Greek-themed Metroidvania featuring the Greek gods.
I’ve now completed my 2nd successful run - and this one was mile’s easier. I ran with the time limit handicap and still had plenty of time left over.
This 2nd run was also with the Fists but in the aspect of Demeter. That and a combination of Ares and Aphrodite boons (with a Duo from them too) the amount of damage I was putting out was insane. I can say that the mirror upgrade that increases the chances of rarer boons and duos is a game changer.
We don’t really have a topic for this so I suppose we keep going here.
I have now also finished 2 runs, first with Fists, second one was with the bow I think(need to double check this), then I had a decent run with exagryph(except for bad damage) untill I decided to borrow Charon’s gold and that was the end of that run.
Not taking part in this, but I’m 1 achievement away from 100%! what a game!
I nearly pooped myself when I first tried to “Borrow” Charron’s Gold . I don’t know how many of you have been tinkering with the Pact of Punishment, but I nearly pooped myself again when I did my first Extreme Measures run.
Like when you walk into the Furies chamber… wondering which one it will be…
…or visiting the Bone Hydra, expecting another easy dash-strike-and-deflect tactic without having to worry about the molten rivers you encountered earlier in Asphodel.
Hahaha I did this purely because of what Meg said. I was running the less HP contract the whole time.
Yep - this was such an awesome moment. These little surprises when you think you’ve worked everything out.
You mean ol’ Lernie - as he is officially named by the Zag man
Good ol’ Lernie, constantly making fashion statements
I read this in Dionysus’ voice.
