Everyone should just GET THE EXPANSIONS! Seriously, it adds a tremendous amount of content to the game, not to mention upping level and power level cap. Base game stops at level 20, while The Forsaken lets you go further to 50. It also adds new sub-classes and… Bows! Wonderfully powerful weapons! I managed to clear a 480PL lost sector while only at 420 using the bow you acquire early on in the story of The Forsaken.
Owning The Forsaken also allows you to get a guaranteed 600PL drop of Horror Story (auto rifle) when you farm 120 fragmented souls during the Festival of the Lost. The Haunted Forest 15 minute cycles are also really fun, even with randos. It’s great seeing everyone do a jig together in the circle before the branch starts.
