[GameClub] The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Did the knights errand in Toussaint and completed in the gwent tournament. Must say the Skellige deck has it’s perks here and there :mechanical_arm:

Do we have until end of Feb? Can’t remember what result of the poll was or if it was agreed on :stuck_out_tongue:

I finally got my PS4 set up. Spend last night relaxing, going through the story of the ending of the base game. I’ve been dragging my feet, playing gwent with any merchant I come across (even found one I hadn’t played yet!)

Went and got my level 73 cat gear schematics and got them made, then promptly passed out. So I’ll maybe even finish tonight.

Random fact: Only 23.9% of people who own the Hearts of Stone expansion on GOG have finished it. Or at least, the people who own the GotY edition of The Witcher 3…

Them gifting the GOTY version to people who owned the base game and expansions seperately might also have an influence on that percentage. I finished both expansions as they came out and later got a free GOTY copy on GOG, which I haven’t finished.

Incidentally, I got the base version free on GOG as well, but from a different source. (I have an E3 Geralt statue and there was a code inside the box)

Took part in a tournament last night and started building and revamping my home. Feels weird owning a piece of property when you are a witcher

I finished the base game the other night. Dropped a lot of coin on the runecrafter, but haven’t done anything with him yet. Gotta read up on how it all works again.

Started the main HoS quest, but haven’t gone into the sewers yet.

This game club is taking its toll on me psychologically.

I had a dream last night where I was tracking some beast. Ended up finding a big fluffy dog. I said, “I know what you are”. It started talking to me, so I reached back to grab my silver sword, but I didn’t know which one of the two it was (I actually felt both), and ended up pulling out a sword sized version of one of my kitchen knives. It even had the same wobble in the handle.

Ya, I couldn’t handle it very well.

Whoa. I have several important questions: What oil did you apply to your sword? Did you drink any decoctions before the encounter?

Seriously, though… if you’re having nightmares it may be time to take a break. Maybe some Cards Against Humanity as a palate-cleanser? :stuck_out_tongue:

I found the Sky Cells on Skellige over the weekend. gave me a slight chuckle…
Then went back to Novigrad and won the High stakes tournament. Am still mopping up treasure hunts dotted around before I move onto side quests before I move onto looking for Ciri :stuck_out_tongue:

Did anyone manage to find the Dark Souls easter egg? Was it possibly in Toussant? I can’t remember exactly where, but it was very noticeable…

I wouldn’t call it a nightmare, but some Cards would certainly be awesome.

I didn’t apply any oils or drink anything during the dream, but I did have some home made oil a day or two before, and I definitely had some whiskey decoctions before bed ^^

Would two crossed swords by a grave count as a Dark Souls easter egg?

No, it was more like a sword in a fireplace that you ignite with a message if I remember correctly…
