Help with a new Keyboard

I need help

I have about R1000 to spend, main thing - not to many macro keys, need a proper sized one, these things without the numb pad drives me nuts. And it cannot be clicky aka loud.

And then I blow my budget by looking at this - I WANT it

Wow that one you posted looks great.

I’ve got a cheapie one from Evetech. Um Gamdias I think. With brown switches. I think it may be too clicky for you. Otherwise I unfortunately don’t know much about keyboards.

Its way over budget but I am so fussy these days

It has to be all black, minimal macro keys and rgb

A Hermes P1 for R499 perchance?

I have the same one.

I had quick look in my email and I have the P3. Bought for R733.

I like the keyboard. I just don’t use the software at all. Some of the worst software I’ve ever seen.

The Vantar looks great! Despite what people say, the scissor switches can be quite comfortable for a low profile keyboard. Might even consider one for the wife, as she’s currently using my old SteelSeries APEX (non-RAW). I’m happily clacking away on my HyperX Alloy Elite (red switches) and won’t trade it for the world.

Likewise with the software.

Sadly, I can only really help with clacky mechanical keyboards. Funny enough, I’m looking into getting a quieter keyboard myself since it is proving difficult to conduct telephonic interviews and take notes without distracting my poor interview subject.

FOr the cougars they are tempting, but I feel like rather spend that little extra
and get the steelseries to match my mouse :stuck_out_tongue:

the Chroma is also an option, I do like razer keyboards.
the last one I posted was the asus keyboard - never seen it before

Which keyboard do you have now? I am looking for a ten key less one, preferably a nice Logitech G-Pro to march my headphones and mouse. I NEVER use the keypad and it is often just in the way of my mouse.

I am currently using the one that comes with that red dragon combo

Its not a bad keyboard at all. But I need a second one for when I go to Nima’s = so red dragon for weekend gaming and the new one for home.

Ive had the Corsair (not a fan, the k30 did not last), my Razer one was one of the shiny black, chicklet keys ones. (A long time ago)

I actually cannot deal if there is no keypad, I have been trained to use it and can do my maths on that almost like those old school bank tellers

I recently got this one as an anniversary present.

So far I love the keyboard. It’s great, looks good, doesn’t have any extra keys and comes with a mouse.
