Is the monetary value of the special stars related to the speed in which you click them?

Ok, time to answer properly. Firstly thanks for trying out the app and trying to break it, I encourage it.

So I only briefly thought about the whole cheating thing as I thought if people want to do that then that’s their prerogative. I only need to be mindful about things like leaderboards etc. if I were to implement those. So the only thing I put in place was the whole 2 hour offline time (with plans to have an upgrade that you can increase that time but it will never be unlimited) to hopefully prevent people changing the time forward and having unlimited money, BUT I never thought about what happens if you turn the time back, haha.

I will have to try it myself on an emulator perhaps as I already have some questions, like how far in the future did you set it, what if set it not longer than those 2 hours, what happens if you turn it 1 minute forward and then 1 minute back ie. a small amount.

I can add some checks to see if the values come out as negative but I also like your idea of leaving it to kind of punish those who try and cheat. I’ll have a think about it all.

Regarding your game, in the About screen is a Hard Reset button if you want to try again. Hopefully that resets everything properly, again I didn’t check that :slight_smile:

No it’s not.

That did cross my mind but that multiplier in the Stats page will eventually be able to be upgraded/increased, giving more on those taps, but I felt it a bit cheeky if I expect players to pay to upgrade but then also take their multiplier away with time.

A small update has just gone live fixing that Boost multiplier value. It is now paying out the correct bonus amount.

Have not tried this again since the last 2 updates, but I initially set it forward by 1day (24hours). This gave me the 2 hour bonus. When setting it back it looked like it subtracted the full 24hours, not just 2. The time till next upgrade for everything was 24hours+. Did a App cache clear to reset the game. When setting it forward 2 hours got the bonus and setting it back the time till next upgrade for everything was 2 hours.

Looks like turning back time is not capped, it calculates and subtracts the full difference.

Well there haven’t been any changes in the newest updates regarding this so it should still be the same.

I’ll have to have a look at how I did the return logic. If I can recall it takes the time difference and just multiplies it by the production rates, so if the time difference would be negative, I suppose it would subtract, but not taking into account the 2hr limit.

  • Do you have a screenie for the intial startup screen for a new user?
  • Also, need a screenie for when a user returns (from when you’ve been away)?
  • Splash screen (welcome screen) if possible too?

Fair enough. I just wondered for a second if developers don’t see names for “anonymity” sake…so that you can’t track me down and shoot me for giving you a 1 star :smiley:

Then I finally woke up this morning, and remembered I can see other random names on reviews so i’m just being dumb :stuck_out_tongue:

Suggestion on improvements:

  • adjusted wording a little
  • moved and adjusted content on screen space
  • equal spacing and padding to screen edges and margins (top, bottom and left, right)
  • even spacing between screen content and copy and button
  • changed button with clear CTA and more feedback provided to the user

It’s developer feedback so only I see it now while it’s in Open Testing. I’m not sure what happens to the review after it goes full live though but they say it won’t affect the rating, not sure if that also means it won’t be shown.
