Grrr, I really struggled to get my wheel working tonight. Stupid Logitech with their stupid drivers system.
Finally got it too work but feeling a bit annoyed and frustrated so didn’t do enough laps at Russia. So I’m not ready but will take it as it comes.
I followed the ghost of a guy who is only half a second faster than me and he so much faster through corners. It’s my biggest problem currently. I just can’t seem to be fast through the hard braking corners. Just don’t know how to do it. Will figure it out eventually.
I dont mind this track, to be honest. Think I actually rather like it. I only really struggle with one corner - the negative camber chicane just before the pit entry… Sheesh, I keep spinning there!
I’m also okay with Russia. Not a too difficult track.
I played some career mode last night. Damn this month long hiatus I took from the game really did slow me down considerably. I struggled against the AI level I previously raced against. Had to drop it actually. Looks like I’ll have to put in more laps to drive the rust off.
For me it’s not this track but something I’m doing wrong in general. On all tracks it’s my braking that’s making me lose time. I want to concentrate on it over the next while and see if I can figure out how to improve.
My Internet, she broke. Just as the results screen came up. Hopefully just a temporary glitch in the matrix. Hopefully my uselessness tonight was captured in the replay.

Mine got stuck on the “communicating with server” screen for 10 mins after the race results screen and before being taken back to the league summary screen - it took me that long to realize my internet connection was choppy. Eventually had to force the game to close.
Checked this morning, and got the same message - thankfully it’s because there’s big maintenance on the go at the moment. Still managed to view my highlights (not the word I’d use for them!) and exported them okay. Can’t get to the league section to screenshot the results and league standings though.
I would love it if more people joined. Don’t really like the AI all that much. But where do we get more people? I’ve tried at MyBroadband but didn’t even get a reply.
Also I watched some of @oltman’s stream and I think I can see what I’m doing wrong. I just wish I had more time to practice. Want to fix my problems. Stupid problems. Nobody likes them.
Well you can basically just let them know that we run an F1 2019 league on PC and that we race most Tuesday evenings at 8pm. It’s just for fun and nothing serious. That there’s currently four of us and the rest of the field are AI drivers but we would like more human drivers to join us.
We communicate via Discord and we are a friendly bunch. You can maybe post that video that @oltman made of last night.
