There I was, all keen to work on finding that 1 second I was behind tonight, and you go and cut another 2.5 seconds off!? Where’s your compassion man?
Seriously though, that’s a pretty awesome improvement for a random afternoon session. And still on controller? And with a default setup too. Which setup did you use?
I just used the balanced one. I thought I will need more downforce but even though it felt faster it was consistently about 1 second slower.
And I have compassion! A lot! My selfishness just outweighs it sometimes

Yes I’ll be available for tonight. And yes I haven’t touched the game in now more than a month. So I’m going to be rusty as all hell for tonight’s race.

Ready? No, not even close. Never got a chance to spend any more time practicing. I’ll be there, but I doubt I’ll ever be truly ready for Singapore.

It was an eventful race!
I thought I had a pretty good race until my pit crew did not replace my front wing! I came into the pits from 2nd, just clipped the pit entry wall and then they did not replace the front wing. Struggled around the track and came straight back into the pits and came out in 18th! I was lucky to end in 15th! Screw you Jeff, SCREW YOU!
Also, my game crashed on the last corner. I have no replay, no highlights, no record of it ever happening. Hopefully the leagues knows… The league never forgets!
EDIT: Oh, and lets not forget @DieGrootHammer blocking me in practise, leaving me with a 5 place grid penalty! 
Is the next race tomorrow evening? Then I better practice tonight.

Grrr, I really struggled to get my wheel working tonight. Stupid Logitech with their stupid drivers system.
Finally got it too work but feeling a bit annoyed and frustrated so didn’t do enough laps at Russia. So I’m not ready but will take it as it comes.
I followed the ghost of a guy who is only half a second faster than me and he so much faster through corners. It’s my biggest problem currently. I just can’t seem to be fast through the hard braking corners. Just don’t know how to do it. Will figure it out eventually.
I dont mind this track, to be honest. Think I actually rather like it. I only really struggle with one corner - the negative camber chicane just before the pit entry… Sheesh, I keep spinning there!

I’m also okay with Russia. Not a too difficult track.
I played some career mode last night. Damn this month long hiatus I took from the game really did slow me down considerably. I struggled against the AI level I previously raced against. Had to drop it actually. Looks like I’ll have to put in more laps to drive the rust off.
For me it’s not this track but something I’m doing wrong in general. On all tracks it’s my braking that’s making me lose time. I want to concentrate on it over the next while and see if I can figure out how to improve.
