Well guys, I’m back so we can start racing again if you guys are still keen. Maybe only from next week.

YAY!!! I have been so bored with no races! I am ready whenever! :racing_car: :checkered_flag:

Swell! Think I read @DieGrootHammer is under deadline pressure this week, and with not having launched the game for 2 weeks myself, I definitely think we need to start Season 2 next week so we can have a little refresher practice. Will have a look if I’ve set things up correctly - can’t remember :man_facepalming: - and confirm the schedule ASAP.

Zoom, zoom. Soon, soon!

You sure picked a difficult track to start with!

I did not find the league… Is there a new code we need?

Nevermind… Same code… I applied!

I invited some people without actually sharing this page:

I would love for our league to be bigger, so dont mind if they join us. But then they need to be committed and join MEW too

The more the merrier, whether they’re keen on joining F1 or the Dirt Rally leagues (or both!) Agree with Oltman though - they do at the very least need to create a MEW profile, even if they don’t use it. Makes communication and tracking things a lot easier all round.

So I haven’t touched the game in almost a month now. And this week will be very difficult still to get availability. I won’t be able to make it tomorrow night for the start of Season 2. I still definitely want to take part, but will only be available on Thursday night.

I can do Thursday

I can also do Thursday.

And Greg’s “I can do Thursday too” makes it unanimous:

Season 2, Round 1 of 7 in Singapore on Thursday. Race Lobby to open at 8:00PM, Practice starts once all are in or at 8:30PM latest.

@DieGrootHammer Is Thursday going to be your preferred day going forward? Or just this week?

I’m fine with Thursdays in the future.

I practised a bit at Singapore last night. Took me an hour to finally beat @oltman’s time. It’s such a difficult track. Don’t know how we are going to make it through the race without crashing.

Plus the tire strategy (if we do t crash first) will have a big play as well! Unless thats just me driving like a maniac!

Agreed - it’s a challenge. I did some laps last night as well and couldn’t get anywhere close to your and Oltman’s times. Time Trail rules are strict, but hell, the number of times I got track limit dirty laps was almost the same as the number of times I ran into the walls. That is to say, many times! :grinning:

Also getting worried about managing it with a full race field as well. Going to try a race sim tonight and find a slow but steady race pace setup for tomorrow. Aiming to stay on the circuit for the race rather than worry about speed and fastest laps.

Spent some time this afternoon trying to get the lap time down. Now I need to do some practice starts from the middle of the pack…
