That would be great Darth! With Regional Pricing for SA, at R330 it’s a pretty well priced game for us, but I know how tight times are for most of us.
No guarantees it’ll work, but you could also hold on till towards the second half of October to see if there is a Steam Halloween Sale again this year, and hopefully the game will go on discount then and save you a couple of bucks.
Or if all else fails, put it your Secret Santa wishlist
Hey guys! Practise race on Suzuka tonight, but on F1 2018 and on XBOX. 8pm if anybody wants to join me and a UK buddy. (This is how I train for the MEWRL)
Swell! You should be able to invite him to join the League with your Admin rights. Can’t remember if you have to be Friends on Steam but don’t think so.
How you doing your practice race? Private Lobby? Set it up for Friends so that we can join without you having to send invites if we’re not online. No promises, but I may pop in. If I miss the start maybe just to spectate (don’t know if there is an option to allow spectators, but if there is, turn it on.)
So I remembered that I have a copy of F1 2015 (as it was previously given away for free)
I installed it and started off the career to start learning how to race these F1 cars. Very different from the rallying which just clicked for me. The biggest challenge at the moment is getting the throttle control right when exiting turns, too much and you start to slide.
Awesome! I’m glad another person is joining. Wow and you do a lot of practice. No wonder you are so good!
Unfortunately I won’t be practising for our race until Monday probably. I’m using the UPlay+ trial for free for a month. So have to finish Far Cry 5 before the end of September.
And on Sunday we won’t have power for the whole day so will be visiting my parents.
@DieGrootHammer is putting in a crazy time! I thought I was fast but that was silly fast. I watched his ghost and I was ahead in the first corner and then never close again.
Ok cool, as you say 2015 may differ a bit from 2019 (at least in terms of car performance) but it does give me an indicator… and that is, more practice is needed!
Hammer is extraordinarily fast. Oltman is right behind him. I’m normally about 2 seconds or behind them, depending on the track. Greg is normally similar to my times.
I had a busy weekend and haven’t touched F1 2019 since our last league race. Tonight my wife and I are going out so I’m so screwed for tomorrow. Have never driven on the track.
Get it and join us!! And with a man of faith joining our sessions will hopefully force me to calm down and not rage out so much…lol
I actually thought that was a rather average lap. I keep losing time in Spoon and in the hairpin before the lead up to spoon. My middle sector is pretty average at best. But the S sections are so amazing and absolutely wonderful fun when you get them on the edge of the car’s grip.
