Soooo lucky. As I started the spin I saw the race slip from my fingers… and then when I opened my eyes I was facing the right way!
Race Stewards have exhaustively reviewed multiple angles of the first lap incident from yesterday’s race in Brazil. And by ‘exhaustively’ I mean, I watched @oltman’s clip. Once.
First lap racing incident. No penalties. (Although I think @DieGrootHammer rejoins the circuit a little too “robustly” and probably ended up giving himself all the penalty needed

Ultimately though, I think all of the top 10 should have been disqualified. The kak you lot caused for me at the othe end of the field…
Completely ruined my plan to go from the very back of the grid all the way to P1. Don’t laugh. You all know it would have happened if not for me driving into the back of that parking lot queue in Turn 2. You all just got lucky. Or it was a grand, orchestrated conspiracy. Either way…

Looking forward to concluding the season! But I admit, I am already nervous. I seem to only feed off of misfortune. If @DieGrootHammer has a bad start then I relax a little and actually drive better, knowing he wont be right on my tail chasing me down. Same goes for when I spin early on, then I am like “oh well, not going to win this one” and drive really well and perform some really great overtakes. Like in Silverstone in season 1 - I spun on lap one, turn one, in the rain, and came 2nd!
I think I severely lack BMT, and if I want to become champion this season then I need to overcome this nervous temperament…
Hey Greg, why is your AI P2 only netting you 6 points and @DieGrootHammer getting 8 points for P3? I would think you should get 9 points? You get half points for AI, rounded up.
Cos that was the first time we had an AI substitute and we still had the AI at a stupidly high level. For Hammer’s AI race we’d dropped the AI level to something more reasonable.

Yeah, maybe check if you will have load shedding ow so we can maybe make other plans. I am good to go regardless.
I had a look at the City Power website now and if we have load shedding stage 2 tomorrow then my power will be off until 8:30pm. Stage 1 and it won’t affect me.
That is if I’m reading their pdf correctly. Their old load shedding page isn’t working.
I’m looking okay for tomorrow, unless we go to Stage 3, then I’m screwed.
Try the EskomSePush app. Using it on iOS, but I’m pretty sure they have an Android version too. It was updated with today’s load shedding about 10 mins after Eksdom’s tweet.
Ya it looks like 4pm until 8:30pm tomorrow at Stage 2.
