I’m sure some of the other racers wouldn’t object to a Steam Friend request from you - then their times should appear in your Friends Leaderboards in-game.
On the subject of Steam Friend requests… does anyone know a Steam user named Cloudy?
Got a request from him/her, but don’t recognise the name or have any Friends in common. Only thing obvious is that they are, and have been recently, playing F1 2019.
If my internet holds then I’ll be joining this time. As soon as the lockdown ends I can put the router on the roof. Until then my internet is a bit of a lottery.
I love the Canada track though! So I hope I can race.
We now have a league with 15 human drivers, which is hugely satisfying for me, and I definitely want to do another season or two without any AI drivers now. Especially after the stupid MURRAY one robbed me of my P3 in Monaco. My best league race ever and the stupid thing decides to drive into me and take me airborne on the 2nd last lap of the race Still frikken’ acid about it!
Next Thursday has been selected as Canada Day for this season, so get those practice laps in!
I really like Canada. It’s one of my favourite tracks. I’ll have to continue sitting out though because my internet is still struggling. When the lockdown ends and I can put the router on the roof, then I’ll try again.
I put in a bit of practice Monday night. Can’t remember my lap time, but I certainly got back in the Canada groove. I’m not fast around that track, but I really enjoy it!
We try to open the lobby around 8:15 or so and then start the practice session as close to 8:30 as possible. If you can please hop onto the Race Radio channel in the MEW Discord - we use the channel to coordinate with everyone on race nights.
