Iāve been watching a lot of streamers lately, and Iām getting the itch to stream on Twitch. I know Bezos is a witch, and treats the world like his b*tch, and I know my PC might glitch. However it could go off without a hitch, and without a webcam, I can stream in my gitch.
So hereās my pitch.
Would anybody witch? I mean watchā¦
Iāve been messing around a bit with OBS, and trying to find ways to do all the chat integrations and such. Also gonna whip up a home made stream deck for the lulzā¦

Taking load shedding out of the equation, Iāve been streaming in the evenings, usually around 7pm. Most of my followers are from the Minecraft server I play on, so I try to go live when the server is more busy.
Iāll probably be streaming on weekend afternoons as well, but weāll have to seeā¦ I might do a stream later today too.I have load shedding from 5pm to 7:15ish, so maybe tonight as wellā¦
I was going to write my own bot, but Iām struggling with the first hurdle on that so I decided to go with one of the data mining bots for now, and even with that, it wasnāt rendering properly when I got new followers.
If I can get 30 new followers in the next 3 weeks, I will make affiliate, but Iām not sure that matters since Twitch doesnāt really care about South Africa. If only there was a way to have my account linked to my Canadian residency, but they look at geolocation I think.

Does anyone have any recommendations for things like āStarting soonā, āBRBā, āStream endingā images? And things like custom emotes and channel points icons?
Iāve heard good things about Canva, but I donāt know if the 7-day free trail will be good enough.
Iāve got a few things through StreamElements, but I only set that up until I can get my own bot writtenā¦ And being not so creatively inclined, I donāt think Iām so well versed to make my own graphics.
Sifting through the freebie themes online isnāt really working for me at the momentā¦ Iām open to suggestions.

Iāve got such a huge list of things I want to get done, I really donāt want to ask too much. If I want this channel to succeed, thereās going to need to be some consistency in my graphics/artwork.

Iām thinking sticking with cyan for the colour theme. Iād like to replace the default background image so it doesnāt have my channel name all over it, but I can easily do a solid colour or something for thatā¦
The title (Specs, Games, etc) can have images used, so Iām thinking maybe some kind of plaque looking thing, and I can slap some of my Disco Bear Dall-E images on them or something. Also going to need to decide on a free font, which I have absolutely no clue aboutā¦
