MELD looks very interesting. Going to play with it some time.
In the meantime, if you’re still using OBS, have a look at the Move plugin - I’m pretty sure it’ll do exactly what you want. It allows you to move elements within your scene - so the camera source itself can be moved to a different location without having to change the entire scene.
Not too tricky to install and use, but here’s a quick vid tutorial on setting it up to specifically move the camera source smoothly.
