I’d give it a try, but the 1.18.1 release is only alpha, and the server I’m on hasn’t upgraded to 1.18.2 yet

Soooo, @murfle , did you use GeyserMC to host this server? The kids now want their modded server but play on Android, so I would want to try the mixed platform server hosting you did. INTERNAL network only

Was this vanilla Minecraft Java or did you use something like Spigot?

Try Paper. It is backwards compatible with Spigot and Bukkit.

Ran both, Spigot “felt” better… but Paper is easier to install

I actually can’t remember if I switched to Paper. I used Spigot at first because we wanted to play 1.18 when it was released, and Paper gets updated later due to it being a fork.

Anybody used this yet? Just came across this now and it seems pretty good. Just depends on the advertising and how bad it gets.
