so just to keep you guys updated in my office drama with our IT professional… we still cant scan to our one machine and he hasn’t been back . he is apparently trying to fix it remotely.
i asked him yesterday why he doesnt write the settings down for each client etc and his response was they do as soon as they get back to the office they update the client files with what ever they have done at said client. But if they were doing that surely he should be able to set up the scanning facility on our printer without any hassle…(no one knows the password for the scan e-mail account which they created for us and they dont want to create a new one cause they are scared they are going to break the existing printer that does work,

jirre ek sou mal gaan, dai ou is 'n poephol… Even I have the scan details for our plotter incase something happens and I have to reset it - our techies prefer me to do it, than drive all the way here to fix something I can in less time.
Where are the photos to prove this statement?

Sorry, I was too busy salvaging what was left of my lunch that I didn’t even think about taking a photo. I can take one of where it was? There might even be some stowaway couscous lying around…but the cleaners were rather thorough…

wow they cant just change the password and update both machines I mean its not that complicated, I would have called the manager of the company long ago and told him he better come down here and fix this shit himself.
What are you guys using for your email hosting ? cant you just login change it yourself and update the printers, or are you letting them hang themselves?
