Ai dude, that sucks! I spent mine reading, watching tv and movies. And doing homework so much fun at least I got to relax only to get home to more family drama
Sounds like you always have family drama that side! Doesnât take a break ?
I wish it would, we get some quiet for a week and then something triggers dad again. I am honestly at the point where I donât know what to do or how to help him because he doesnt want help from me
So if you had to choose between living in Dublin, Ireland or Cambridge, UK what would you choose and why?
That is difficult since I have only been too Cambridge, didnt make it to Ireland. I loved the UK and Cambridge is beautiful. Public transport is amazing and you have everything you need. Ireland, I wish I could say, cos I wanted to visit there but ran out of time.
Cambridge is bigger than you think, close enough to so much that you can see the whole of the UK - trains dude! trains are amazing (sorry it was the best thing when I was there, being able to jump on a train or bus and go away for the weekend for cheap)
More importantly itâs 60-70 Miles from Silverstone Circuit
Hehehe exactly - but it depends on when you go, since next year as far as I know is the last year of F1 there
The financial loss has been hectic for them and they will actually make so much money without the F1
BTW, Who has played The Witness before?
SUCH A CHALLENGING GAME!
The people that come up with those puzzles are insane!
Love the game so much while I have never hated a game so much in my life !
It sucks that F1 has gotten so expensive. Just to host the race they need to pay the F1 brand nearly R400 mil. Then after that F1 maintains the TV rights and sponsorship boards so the only way the track can recover the money is from government, paying F1 a fee to place additional signage for private sponsorship or killing visitors with R50 cokes and expensive tickets.
Personally I think they should cut the hosting fees and then pick the best tracks they can find, let countries build something amazing with overtaking points built in and let drivers choose the tracks they want to experience.
So really iâm not surprised Silver stone wants to pull out.
Loooove the witness. One of the best games ever. So many smart puzzles. Every time I did a puzzle it was impossible, until I figured it out. Then I couldnât understand how I didnât see the solution.
Their words are âThis game respects you as an intelligent player and it treats your time as precious. Thereâs no filler; each of those puzzles brings its own new idea into the mix. So, this is a game full of ideas.â which I felt solidly. All the puzzles are simple, once you figure out what the idea for it is.
Have you finished the game?
I would definitely not view some of the puzzles as simple =D
I have only activated 2 lazers thus far. 1 Being the easy one at the âstarting areaâ to the left. And then Greenhouse one
Yeah, 3 times. Did a walkthrough video series of it.
Love all of it. Thereâs so many hidden environment puzzles as well and a big ultimate challenge in one part of the island.
Wonât be watching that just yet!!
I guess you love solving puzzles in general.
The Tetris inspired Swamp area I have enjoyed the most thus far. The color puzzles in the green house were very difficult. Especially the elevator
Love them. Just finished recording a video series for Rime. Need to edit and upload them still.
Whatâs interesting is that youâve done the greenhouse as itâs on totally the opposite side of the island. I only got to that one much later. You must have gone exploring
My favourite is the Desert ruins one. The Egypt looking one.
Yup yup, went exploring! And have not done anything in any specific order. Just walked through the Desert, but not started anything there yet. It does not really matter hey? As each area has puzzles inspired by different things? So not like they really follow on each other?
Will give Rime a look!
No it doesnât matter the order. And you only need 7 lasers to get into the mountain. You can get the other lasers to complete the other challenges but 7 is all you need to get into the mountain and finish the game.
Ps. Rime is my new saddest game. Kicked âBrothers: A tale of two sonsâ off the top spot.
Was looking at Brothers: A Tale of two sonsâ just earlier this week.
I just remembered that I watched Rimes trailer yesterday on the Xbox, and the visuals put me off for some reason. So guess I will end up actually installing and playing it.
It is a refreshing change playing these games after SOLELY playing Online FPS games competitively
The feels in that game made to be played with a controller playing it with the keyboard and mice was a nightmare.
Going to Umkomaas tomorrow so will be back on Thursday only.
