so a 2008 imac cannot be upgraded to sierra or high sierra because it lacks SSe 4.1 instructions,
imacs use laptop cpuās ie the same core cpuās u get in pre 2010 laptops, if i upgrade a merom laptop with a penryn cpu (the successor to meromās with the same clocks and multipliers) it works without even touching the bios (it might not display the cpu name correctly since its not in the microcode but it works cause everything else is the same except for the extra SSE intructions (which sierra and high sierra wants on the mac).
Try upgrading the cpu on an imac to a penryn then the friggn thing refuses to boot because apple designed their bios to only support select cpuās they used when they made the friggin things

Have a friend who just made the move to Canada. He landed over the weekend. Spent a month at home just selling all his stuff. Iām incredibly jealous thoughā¦ Will orobably be in contact to see how prospects are that side once youāre settled. 
Oh man, am I in a situation.
A female whom Iāve been chatting to on WhatsApp (someone with whom Iām interested, romantically) for the last week and a half informed me (due to me asking, randomly) that she has a child.
I was wondering why she was so adamant to talk in person.
Iāve already asked a close friend of mine ā who is a mother ā advice on the situation.
So, my choices are:
- Go in with a full-fledged commitment, or
- Back off now while itās not too serious.

Tough choices are you a person that can accept that she had a child with someone else and are you willing to accept that the child is not yours but you will raise her like it is your own and will you ever hold it against her when you have fights?
Are you mentally matured enough for this?

Go sit down and speak loudly what you are thinking and if there is any doubt then your not prepared. That tiny voice in your head is the one that knows you best.

Funnily enough, my gut instinct warned against asking her if she ever wants kids, thank f*** this I ignored it and asked.
I have gentlemanly decided to back off ā Iām really, not about that life.
Speaking of mental maturity: the friend whom Iād spoken to regarding this I had told that mentally Iām not matured or ready enough for something like this.
