Saw it so much first hand when I was a teacher: kids need something like an event set up/coach for something and no one wants to do it. Kids suffer, so I do it ā€œjust this onceā€ and then I was doing it for the next 5 years.

I really do not enjoy rugby, never played it, never watched it, never talk about it, ended up coaching the very last under x rugby team purely because I felt sorry for the poor chaps who had to sit around hoping to play someday.

I ended up being a screamer (coach who screams from the sidelines), got really involved. Still did not enjoy rugby though :wink:

On the plus side, when I said I want to start a girlā€™s cricket team, fencing team and MTG club I got no push back from management.

Guess karma exists.

1 cup of decaf for me at lunch time. Real coffee has a very small chance of killing me, I donā€™t like to dice with death.
