'Old' Clothes

Referring, but not limited to:

Pants | Shirt(s) | Jacket(s) | Hoodie(s) | Hat(s) | Shoe(s)

Do you have clothing that you consider to be old?
Do you still wear said clothing?
Do you give it away?

And … generally at what point do you consider clothing old: age, wear, style?

I have a pair of Puma sneakers that I would call old, but a wash and some good TLC could change that.
I had bought myself Levi’s converse-style shoes, which lasted about a year, at the same time, I also had a pair of Vans, main for going out - now it’s my daily.

I would like to invest in a pair of high-top sneakers; would go really well with the skinny jeans that I now primarily wear.

Yes, pretty much all my clothes are old except for a few items. Clothing is expensive!

Depends on what you’re looking for and where you want to buy it?
And also, if you bargain hunt…

I have several pieces of clothing that’s close to, if not older than, 10 years. My idea of ‘old’ is when it is damaged, like socks where my toes peek through, or underwear where my…okay no wait.
Over the last few years, my pants got replaced because my ‘old’ ones had gotten to big; and T-shirts are replaced when they become too faded or stretched out.
I keep a lot of my old clothes to wear at home for when I do gardening or painting and so on. Otherwise I give it to the gardener or cleaner.

Pants : When they have holes between the legs or now that I’ve lost a lot of weight they are falling off me even with a belt. Holey ones make into rags good ones just put outside someone will take it.

Shirt(s) : Until they tear I guess.

Jacket(s) : They last pretty long.

Hoodie(s) : Don’t wear those.

Hat(s) : Don’t wear them.

Shoe(s) : Until they wear out.

what he said, My SO is the only reason I have a few new things, I generally hate clothing shopping so damn much

Till they are full of holes and they get used for rags.
