I mean, I’m okay with Ferrrari doing a fully electric car. But why would the board of such an iconic marque greenlight such an utterly awful looking car? Jony Ive is an inspirational designer, but holy kak, this thing looks like it crawled out of the pre-Prius concept sketch book. They could so easily have made a proper Ferrari-looking Ferrari. For €550,000? Nope. I mean, if you’re going to give me one, I’ll take it with pleasure and love driving it everyday - it’s really amazing piece of modern technology. I just wish it would look a little more like a Ferrari.
Everything about it is pure Ferrari - the interior, the performance, the specifications, the handling. The look? Nah. Of course, it’ll sell like hotcakes obviously. And then some.
Even having Pope Leo give it his blessing doesn’t seem to have soothed the nerves of Ferrari investors…
