Hopefully they are looking at the data. When your customers are telling you they’re not happy you need to listen.
There was, however, a big surprise at the bottom of the table. After many years of occupying the bottom slot, Telkom is no longer the lowest-ranked ISP.
In July, Rain was the ISP with the lowest customer satisfaction ranking, with an average customer satisfaction rating of 50%.

I must say though that when my Rain 5G works, it’s amazing. But phew, it can be problematic.
Still much better than the Vodacom fibre that I used to have!

That is a terrible indictment. Fibre is supposed to be the pinnacle of broadband.

Yeah it was very sad. Unfortunately the fibre just didn’t work and it was impossible to get support. It was such a frustrating experience.
My 5G didn’t work again last night. Full signal, no throughput. But my wife says it worked during the day. I’m working from home today and it’s currently working very well. It’s in the evenings that I really need it though so I hope it works tonight.

It’s only so fast now because the power is out. Amazingly this is on wifi.

It looks like our tower isn’t in our area when it comes to load shedding. So like yesterday we won’t have power for 4 hours and then when the power comes back on we don’t have internet for 4 hours.
Makes me want to burn places down.

It looks like someone is finally starting to dig for fibre in our area, but I’m afraid it’s too little and way too late now, unless 5G really takes a nosedive.

I also had problems yesterday. They moved from an NSA to SA network which means it’s proper 5G.
Have you tried restarting the router? I contacted them yesterday and it seems better now. But my speeds are still slower than what it was.

I can sign in on MTN on my phone but not Rain. Not sure what’s going on.

Very interesting. Same thing with the other site you had problems signing in on? Can you sign in on MTN but not Rain?

I’m not too clued up how the Rain IP allocation works.

But still can’t log into Steam. I should maybe try and restart the router later and see if it makes a difference. I can remote desktop onto one of our servers and log in there but it’s a pain. Just want to edit my wishlist.

That’s odd, I can’t visit the Steam website “502 Bad Gateway” but the Steam client is working fine.

Unfortunately I can’t install the Steam client on my work laptop. It’s an option though.

I think it might be my browser, I can actually log when I use incognito mode. I dunno.
