Out today from Oron Galaxy Studios and Epic Games Publishing comes Rumbleverse, and all new, 40-person, free-to-play Brawler Royale.
It’s Fortnite meets WWE in all its full colour HD glory. Sporting cross-play and cross progression, the game launches today on PC (via the Epic Games Store naturally), Xbox, and PlayStation
Players get to create their own unique champion, then get shot out of a cannon. You’ll need to smash crates to find upgrades, then go find another player, pick a fight, and battle to the death!
"Rumbleverse has been a passion project for us and a real testament to the skills and experience of our team,” said Iron Galaxy co-CEO Adam Boyes. “We can’t wait to see everyone pour into Grapital City and discover the singular joy of suplexing a friend off a skyscraper.”
There are three game modes at launch: Solo, Duos, and Playground. While the first two are obvious melee battle modes, the Playground mode allows players to free roam throughout the city without consequence, to practice moves, learn the layout of the city, and get some training in.
Want to explore the city at your own pace and perfect your moves? Looking for a few lessons on how to play before you launch head-first out of a giant cannon? Check out our free roam experience, Playground Mode. The city will be fully open to explore. Seek out training modules in different neighborhoods to learn gameplay lessons. Spar with the high-tech robots to help you unlock your inner champion. Explore on your own or with a friend. Enjoy Grapital City at your own speed.
You can join a Playground server alone or with a friend. If you bring a friend, you won’t be paired as a team. This will allow you to fight each other or create your own fun in a multitude of ways. If you are eliminated while you are in Playground, you can press the Option button to respawn nearby.
Rumbleverse is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 with crossplay and cross-saves enabled. The Battle Barge is open and the fight to become the champions of Grapital City has begun!
