Thats a decent “rediculus” price for the 1080. probably the cheapest I’ve seen in this stupid second hand GPU market of late.

Yep, a few years ago I wanted to buy a 1080 and could get it for R5000, and decided to hold off, now, the card is even more old but the cheapest I’ve seen(until this post) was R7500. Madness man.
EDIT: maybe I should make a note that I’m not bashing @FarligOpptreden’s price in anyway 
. I’m bashing the price of GPUs in general that is causing this.

Yep, R6800 is reasonable for a 1080 these days. I won’t tell you how much I sold my Vega 64 for a few months ago…

There’s a deep cool one for R631. But then on Dreanwaretech there’s a 700w for R750 so I’m leaning towards that at the moment. But don’t want to shelve out a shit load of cash on a psu and don’t have enough for the gpu

Does anyone have an old flightstick they’re looking to get rid of? I don’t need anything fancy, just need something better than using a mouse or controller for space battles

Oh cool! Those 2 piece sticks can be tricky to get set up with the game I’m playing (Star Wars Galaxies), since it’s so old, and adds an additional layer of complexity since I’m on linux, which is why I’m just looking for something simple. However it might be possible to get something like that working.
