Anyone considering selling some noise cancelling headset, let me know. Holiday time is upon us and working with background noise is a real struggle.
Just resurfacing this.
If anyone has an over-ear headset they wanna sell, or AirPods, please let me know. My current headset is driving me nuts and keeps randomly disconnecting.

Does it need to be wireless/bluetooth?
I’m impartial at this point. Currently using my headset wired (USB-C) as the Bluetooth is choppy.
You’re using MacOS, right? Can you confirm the headset does the same when connected to, for instance, a phone?
Reason I’m asking, is it seems like MacOS is giving issues with non-Apple Bluetooth devices these days. My wife has been driven mad by her Bluetooth mice acting choppy. I’ve tried my MX Master 3, bought her a new MX Anywhere, and she used an older Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. Same issue on all of them. She’s now using a wired Logitech G502 Hero, because she needs the free-spinning mouse wheel.
It also cannot be wireless interference, as I’m sitting next to her each day and using Bluetooth devices on my Windows desktop. I also read up a lot and many people seem to be having these issues on MacOS.

Yes, using MacOS and now that you mention it, I actually haven’t tested its Bluetooth with my phone as an example.
I do use an Apple Magic Keyboard and Mouse combination so I can’t comment on other periphels which are not Apple branded other than my Corsair headset. I don’t suppose there would be some propriatary Bluetooth that Apple would be using, though my Xbox controller works perfectly fine on it.

Might be worth it to try the headset on another device then. The issues seem to stem from primarily non-Apple Bluetooth devices and restarting the Bluetooth service on the MacOS devices through a terminal command seem to temporarily resolve the issue, although we haven’t had much luck with that route. My wife works on a Mac Mini M1 and a Macbook Air M2, both sitting next to one another on a desk, and the issues are apparent on both. The exact same devices being used on my Windows desktop don’t exhibit the issues.
Alternatively, look at any 2.4Ghz interference in the area. Bluetooth, Wifi and other devices all run on that frequency, so it might be worthwhile changing the channel on which your router broadcasts. Do a scan in your area to see which channels are congested and opt for one that seems the cleanest in your area. YMMV, as this also didn’t resolve the Bluetooth hitching issues for us on MacOS devices.

I am looking for a older gfx card, we have setup a basic pc for the bf at my place, but the Radeon 5750 we have running in it is struggling a lot. So anything a few steps up just so he can run older games like division and farcry etc on low to mid settings would be great - just pm me prices
