Seems like I might have to try delete (uninstalling) the game, and possibly any saved data in order to sign out of my MS account. Came across this:

wow that is almost EPIC levels of stupid design to have to do something like that just to sign in with another account.

Anti-patterns, you know all about that hey @Beo

haha touchê sir.

I find so many in Microsoft’s solutions and suits and it astounds me how simple things get overlooked or just not even considered.

Evening, all.

I’ve got a fancy shmancy motherboard with 2 m.2/NVMe slots. (I never know which is which. Is the form factor m.2? Is the bus NVMe? Are all these acronyms just made up?!)

I’ve got one populated, but I have a second drive in a drawer. I want to put it in, but alas, I can not find a screw… I know it’s an M2x3, but currently my best bet to find one is the local hardware stores. Does anyone know of a better place to be looking?

I should mention, I did try the local Incredible Connection. As expected, no luck.

Stick it down with insulation tape, or if your C: drive is under your graphics card, swap the screw to the 2nd drive, and stick the main drive down. The GPU should hold it in place. While you’re screw hunting

I love the redneck engineering, but this is a brand new build, and it’s for the 2nd drive. I’ll rather be without for a while for now, but I’m making a note of your suggestions for when I sukkel in future!

Before I got my new case my SSD was cable-tied into the old FDD area on the old case, half attached to the metal frame and half-suspended in a web of cable ties  Gotta love non-mechanical, non-moving parts!

I’m surprised no one has suggested hot glue yet.

No, I’m not suggesting that, I’m just dumbfounded at the overuse of the stuff around here…

And yes, I have seen SATA cables hot glued to motherboards. Just buy the cables with the dang clips, morons!

I watched enough linus tech tip to not use glue. But glitter should work

Ugh! What is it with people in this country and hot glue?

Just stop!

Hot glue is awesome, but it has its place.

Within 2 meters of a motherboard is not its place.

Exactly. Its place is 5-minute crafts type stuff

I just finished fixing a refurbished GPU, where the cunts lost 3 screws, snapped off the plastic mount points, and had glued the heatsink in place, which made for some serious RAGE, when I had to replace the fans

More screws than you need but at that price…

I saw that, and it’s my plan b right now. The price is fine (I’ve bought enough fasteners in my life), but the lead time…
