There is no place close enough to my work that sells actual jam donuts… Krispy kreme is at the mall and im not entering mall of africa just for a donut(even though they dont have jam donuts)

Discovery’s car insurance tho is a dream - we are moving to them as of 1 Feb, they are coming on Friday to install my tracker. These guys are a dream to work with so far.

I’ve been with them ever since my last lot increased my premium by 50% without telling me. Discovery works out to roughly the same as my new premium before I account for any cashback, and dealing with them has been absolutely wonderful for the past 18 months or so. So good, that I’ve now opened up a bank account with them as well - that only took 5 hours from downloading the app to having a virtual credit card with credit available.

I never really liked the idea of my car insurer having easy, direct access to my car tracking details. I’m wary of them using all that info against me when it comes time to claim.

I wont ever go back to their Medical aid, but seriously happy so far with the car insurance, I mean I am on my brother’s policy - works out cheaper that way for me - but they deal with me directly where as miway still cant figure out who to phone back even when you input your own details.
I honestly don’t mind, I haven’t been in big accidents in years, I am a safe driver and the discounts we get for the fact that we both are not long-distance drivers is a bonus. The better one for me is as I am girl alone in the car 99% of the time, the fact that they can find me when I was in an accident as well as any issues like a high jacking I want that security.

Pro: When I hit a mother of a pothole, I received a phone call to ask if I needed assistance.
Pro: When I was driving substantially less under the initial lockdown, Disco gave me a discount on my premium WITH NO ACTION ON MY PART.
Pro: If I press my phone’s power button five times, it triggers an SOS and Discovery phones to check if your alright, no matter how much you press other buttons or yell at your phone that it was an accident and that you didn’t mean to waste the nice people’s time.
I did read up a little before signing on, and couldn’t pick up more unhappy claimers than with any other insurance broker.
