Well if you’re being techinical then, yes, I guess you’re right.

I know Americans have things like pecaan pie and those that are just filled with a fruit like strawberries, i would love to try something like that.

This is one of the biggest reasons for me plus the no excess on claims - I cant keep up with miway and their excess amounts skyrocketing.

Remember, excess is also adjustable on your end. I told Discovery and my previous broker what I want the excess to be. They than adjusted my premium to take that excess into account. Larger excess == lower premium, but it’s in your control.

yea that is what Nima did, the irony is the payment is still less (he did household and car insurance via them) than what miway charged. Plus the fact that he gets a discount due to the fact he only does less than 500km per month. Where with miway my excess ballooned to R5600 in less than 3 years.

One of the guys on my hockey team was telling me this was coming. They closed the CD pressing plants in the country due to lockdown, so they have to import all their discs adding to costs. Odd the article doesn’t mention this.
