@Avatar it’s also very easy to get some normal hosting, buying a Wordpress theme and setting up a site. My wife has no knowledge about these things and she set up a great looking site.
Most of the web hosts offer site builders now too. Let me know if you need more info. Got to sort out some stuffies.

My Cape Town client has relaxed their lockdown protocols at their office, so requested that everyone be back on site again from next week. So all my Cape Town devs are pretty miffed at this point in time, as they were spoiled by being able to work from home permanently for 6 odd months now. My own involvement is being reduced at the client (primarily for risk management purposes) so I finally get to focus growing our business in Cape Town and Europe.
We’ve been shortlisted as the tech partner for a new fintech startup based in Poland and we decided to bring my pet project (a social tourism-focused offering) on board to launch in South Africa and Austria by the end of the year. Our Austrian branch is run by an ex-pat who’s in charge of the student center and startup hub of one of the top 5 tourism and hospitality universities in the world, so we’re leveraging that network to get it launch. We’re also entering the product to the university’s startup accelerator next year to get exposure to around 300 investors world wide. Exciting times ahead!
On that note, if anyone has a startup business (or idea) in the tourism and hospitality industry that they want to enter into the accelerator, let me know. There are 3 tiers of cost, with the lowest tier being absolutely free, and the whole thing can be done remotely. It’s a 3 month project with virtual classes twice a week for about 2 hours each class. The startup doesn’t need to be in an advanced stage yet - it only has to be a viable business idea.
