The day is dragging yes. Our boy got sicker and eventually the paediatrician booked him into hospital. So we just settled in here, got physio, COVID swab, respiratory swab and drip in the arm.
He’s a little trooper, never even crying once. Rather told the nursing staff his name, surname, where he lives and asking them to sing wheels-on-the-bus with them. We could hear them all laughing in the procedure room.
Now he’s chilling on the bed, watching Luca (for the hundredth time) on his iPad.

We’re fine thanks. Wife is staying with him in hospital and I’m heading back home now. Quite tired after the excitement today, to be honest. Might look into downloading No Man’s Sky and seeing if I can join planet MEW later tonight. Then catch some much needed winks.

Don’t you just wish sometimes that parental units would realise putting their broken relationship issues on their kids isn’t fair or healthy nor to expect them to fix their issues?

Yeah, not as well as I’d hoped to be a week later, but thanks for asking.
The gastroscopy and colonoscopy on Wednesday did find a small perforated ulcer that could possibly be a contributor to my iron loss, but it isn’t the cause of the blood loss which is the big issue.
Also had a PillCam test (medical technology is amazing) to look at the intestine but getting the video from that processed and analysed is taking way longer than expected. No info from that yet, and doubt there will be until Monday now.
At the moment, I’m still losing blood and am starting to get pretty anaemic again. I see another transfusion in my future before this is all worked out. Going to ride out the weekend as gently and slowly as possible, and hopefully get to the new week and some answers okay.
