Ouch, that’s got to hurt. At least you know City Power eventually came good on their assurances that the repair was happening. Hopefully no more issues for you or the area when you get power back at 8:30.

Thanks. I went to bed and it came back on after maybe two hours? It was hard to judge since I was trying to sleep (unsuccessfully in the heat without a fan).
Part of me wants to suspect an extra load shedding block, but there was a lightning storm that rolled through, so it was probably that.
