That looks like a Dune background.
Fun fact, during this time of year it seems Amazon deliveries are faster than Takealot.
I’m still waiting for eBucks to contact me regarding the fridge. Found more people with the same problem as me.
Morning people of the palace
Hope you have a great day!
I’m waiting for an SSD that I ordered on Cyber Monday - apparently Dawn Wing uses tractors and geriatrics to process and deliver packages. So far they are running 5 days late and the parcel is only being “processed” at their depot.
Dawnwing is fecking useless!
Ah so it’s not just me being unlucky. I’ve sent feedback to Wootware so they can decide whether or not they should continue using Dawn Wing as a courier option.
Dude I almost refuse to buy from places that use dawnwing
Some good news regarding the fridge. FNB will offer me alternatives that I can pick from. They will send an email later today with the alternatives. So I hope there’s some good alternatives on the list!
That’s some progress at least, hope you won’t have to pay in any extra and that they will keep to their original eBucks value that you paid.
Argh… just found out that my mother-in-law had recently experienced a mild heart attack. Why must family hide these kinds of things from us?
its a starwars background
This is the way?
Greetings from the comfort of my hospital bed for the last time in a long time I hope!
Had the old “cut in the butt” surgery this morning. Much pain now (and for the next two weeks I’m told ) but hopefully it puts an end to my blood loss issue once and for all.
Recover well.
Hope you feel better soon sir. Not quite sure which surgery you’re referring to, but it sounds uncomfortable to say the least. Here’s hoping, praying and crossing fingers and toes that you’re up and about with no further ill effects pretty much immediately.
Yikes, is that an arterial line to measure blood pressure? If it is, I hope your experience with it is better than mine was.
Morning
Thanks for all the well wishes folks. Long, painful night, but all is good. Got another 3 units of blood pumped into me to hopefully get me to a level that I can sustain.
@FarligOpptreden - it’s called a hemorrhoidectomy, and it is as uncomfortable and painful as you image.
@Shrike - nah, it’s the standard drip line that the anethetist used. Used the same line for the blood transfusion.
@Oltman - jokes are allowed, butt only behind my back side
