It’s odd, I got migraines, but lasting much longer than any I’ve had before.

That could be just from the stresses we are under currently. Ironically mine has been milder and less frequent

Man I had heavy fatigue and headaches for a month last year just before the first lockdown started.

For clarity, I’m talking about July and October last year.

Initially I thought that it was stress, or the way I was wearing my buff adding unusual strain, but then my wife tested positive in the next few days. The second time around, my wife started showing a couple of weird symptoms, and right around when she lost her sense of taste I started getting migraines again. That’s when we knew the migraines were my COVID symptoms all along.

Been doing some more brain dumps and honestly finding it quite freeing, explorative and it bumps my creativity. If others read it or not is not within my control but I hope at least some get value out of it.

Aah makes sense, ironically my brother had diarrhea whilst his wife had some of the other symptoms. But he went to test 2 times during his 14 days and he tested negative, and even took the antibody test and still showed he never had it. The diarrhea can be a symptom as well

Ja, I had the antibody test before my op in November, that confirmed that I recently had it, so both my ENT and my wife are convinced that the migraines were my COVID symptoms. The weird variety of symptoms is one of the bit that the hospitals are really struggling with. My wife felt that she kinda got a handle on all the ways COVID presents, and then the second strain hit and threw the rulebook out the window.

I’m glad to say that my headache is getting better and the pill is working. I really hope I’m COVID free.

If it is lifting then I would say yes - from what I heard if you get the headache you wont get it to lift easily.

How are you and the girl and when is the wedding

Hey dragon lady,

Actual wedding is probably a next year thing, but we want to legalize things this year to sort out her immigration situation and it’s somewhat complicated (wow, our country really doesn’t like foreign nationals settling here). So hoping to sort a spousal visa situation (she’s a born Malawian who is a Botswana citizen)

YOu don’t do things the easy way hey :stuck_out_tongue:
And these days a court wedding is better than a big shindig - you can always have a lovely party next year with a renewal of vows :stuck_out_tongue: A hell of a lot cheaper

Oh for sure, there are even service where folks officiate at your house, which is what we’re looking into as far as signing papers, but if you’re part of the either of our cultures (I’m Xhosa, she’s Tumbuka), then well, the headache of not doing some form of shindig is too much
