I know I saw Silverstone say they are willing to host 2 consecutive events without spectators.

It gives me something to look forward too since I will never be able to leave the house at the rate the WC infections are going up

This would be an amazing track to race (be sure to watch the video in the article) - and it would only be possible as a virtual track. How cool would it be for Codies to add this as a bonus extra - or even DLC.

Haha! I love the dust cloud in turn 9 (Australia) where someone has done what I keep doing!

Some epic racing between LeClerc and Albonā€¦ although as epic as it was, I think they focused a bit too much on those two.

Max and Alex on a Dutch road trip. No, that is not some dodgy code word or innuendoā€¦

The dialogue was a bit cringe but the video was cool!

Formula1.com are looking for the Most Influential Person in F1 History.

The Fangio v Hamilton and Schumacher v Lauda votes are going to be tight.

The ones with the game changers, team bosses, innovators is the one I am more interested in. I am curious to see how people vote there since I picked the drivers who actually changed the sport, not just my favourite ones.

Results from the first round of voting are all in individual posts on this pageā€¦

And the voting for Round 2, now thankfully all in one thread.

This news obviously broke during the day time in Australia, so they had the timeā€¦

I wonder if Vettel wonā€™t just walk away from it all, or if his will to drive will see him move to a McLaren or Renault to replace his replacement. I donā€™t know if either of those teams could pay him what Ferrari were, and if a salary reduction was enough to get him to leave Ferrari, why would go somewhere else for the same or less?

OOOH I would be happy with either of those two. But I kinda doubt they would leave their teams at this point? Or am I wrong here?

Well Ricciardo is only contracted until the end of the year. And he was in talks with Ferrari before his move to Renault so I can see him go there if Ferrari wants him. I donā€™t know if Renault can really afford Ricciardo for more years unfortunately.

Ah, I thought he had a longer contract somehow. I suppose this was suppose to be the year that he finds out if Renault can come out and challenge the top 3 or not.

Yeah, was going to say exactly what Soli just did. Both of them, and many others to be fair, are out of contract at the end of the season.

Also, although some probably wouldnā€™t admit it publicly, I do still think that a Ferrari F1 seat is a real goal for many of the drivers.

Of them, Iā€™d agree that Ricciardo seems the more likely option, what with the previous talks and the fact that he speaks fluent Italian.

Bottas is another driver who needs to renegotiate a contract beyond 2020. I would be surprised if his agent hasnā€™t already set up a little ā€œletā€™s chatā€ Zoom meeting with Ferrari for him.

And maybe Ferrari surprise us all and bring Kimi back for one last swan song year in red. His is, after all, their reigning WDC, and Alfa is pretty much the Ferrari junior team anyway. :grinning:
