Was just about to post that. So that Confirms all the rumors in one foul swoop haha. I hope Sainz brings the smooth operator to Ferrari. They need some humor in their life. As much as I’m a Ferrari fan.
Sainz and LeClerc is probably one of my favorite Ferrari duos so far 
Now the big questions are:
- Who is replacing Ricciardo at Renault?
- Where is Vettel going?
Confirmed. Like we did not see that coming 
Intriguingly, a move to Ferrari will mean Sainz’s career path follows that of his childhood hero Fernando Alonso, with both having started at same team (Minardi in Alonso’s case, which morphed into the Toro Rosso squad Sainz debuted for in 2014) before progressing to Renault, McLaren and then Ferrari.
This makes me so happy. I think McLaren is a much better fit for RIC, and can you imagine the Lando-Ricciardo memes that’ll happen?
Let’s hope there’s as much point making as there will be piss taking!
- Bring Hulk back? Promote one of their Renault Sport Academy drivers from the F2 ranks? Poach someone else who is about to go out of contract? Odds on those 3 options are 30% - 40% - 40% imo.
- Personally, 90% convinced he is going to retire. Probably just going to wait for a few weeks before making an announcement just in case someone makes him an offer he can’t refuse

I have 2 kids. They are a fulltime job during lockdown. Seb has 3 kids. Three. Thats one more than me. He cannot retire. He needs the money for the nanny.

I have liked the McLaren drivers and the team is my favourite, but now with DR coming to the team, it will be one of my favourite drivers in my favourite team. Looking forward to this season kicking off and next season starting for real
