Some random thoughts on a couple of those trailers:

  • Sons of the Forest looks odd, but potentially interesting if survival-horror is what you’re gaming for.

  • Fast & Furious Crossroads looks like complete kak, but will sell billions of copies on console. (This is the game that Slightly Mad Studios have been working on since the launch of Project Cars 2 that they mentioned in their recent news release when the Codemasters acquisition was made.)

  • Magic: Legends - if the MMO RPG that comes out looks anything like this cinematic, it’ll be huge!

  • Weird West has the credentials (Dishonored, Prey) to be something… isometric ARPG, loving the art style.

  • Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II - Yes please! Looks amazing. Trailer captured in-game. Expect it to be a Xbox Series X launch title.

  • Nine to Five - Is there space in the gaming world for another team-based tactical FPS? Seems so, although this one does have a slight twist with its 3 teams of 3 versus each other approach. Personally I’d have gone with the rabbits with guns thing in the beginning of the trailer. If it is your bag, they’re taking Alpha sign-ups right now.

  • Humankind - Talking about space in the gaming world, here’s another civ-city building RTS sim game. Definitely has it’s charms based on the trailer, but will it bring anything new to the table?

  • New World: Aeternum Awaits - There’s a lot going on in there - magic, swords, guns, monsters, demons, castles, and the worst cover of “Forever Young”, well, forever. If you’re keen for a closer look at New World, they’re also taking on Closed Beta sign-ups at the moment, but the sign-up page asks you to sign in using Amazon?? so maybe the Beta is ony avaialble to Amazon Prime members?
