Take a look at this LEGO mini-movie based on the critically acclaimed fantasy novel and film series The Lord of the Rings to introduce an upcoming LEGO set for fans to enjoy. The Lord of the Rings LEGO mini-movie is packed with a tribute to the cinematic artistry of the trilogy accompanied by a rendition of the iconic Osgiliath monologue.
The upcoming LEGO Lord of the Rings set is a recreation of the iconic set of The Shrine packed with Bilbo’s hobbit-hole, Gandalf’s horse and cart, and the legendary round green door with a richly appointed interior. The over 2,000-piece LEGO Lord of the Rings set of The Shrine is launching on April 2nd for LEGO insiders and April 5th for everyone else.

Lego reckons the Mercedes-AMG F1 build will make a couple of pit stops around Gauteng, KZN, and the Western Cape. First, it’ll come to Nelson Mandela Square from 16 November ’til 3 December. It’ll then move to Gateway Shopping Centre from 12 December to 5 January. Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront will get its turn from 15-25 January 2026. And lastly, it’ll head back to Gauteng at Sandton City from 5-28 February.

All I will say is the car is in pieces in an icecream tub for now
I want to believe… that I could afford this set. (And that I age as well as Gillian Anderson is!)
The 1,478-piece set includes 8 minifigures, featuring Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien.
